Robards Advisory isn't a big firm that treats you like a number. We're a small practice that knows what it's like to carry a business on your back, and we help owners take back control.
A small practice where the people you talk to are the people who do the work.
I started in public practice in 2004. Six years in, I was burnt out, so I stepped away and spent five years in management accounting in the club industry. Along the way I've brought a bowling club back from the brink of bankruptcy, run a registered club as CEO, and helped a labour hire business grow from one employee to eight.
I've also had my own hard times: standing in front of staff not knowing if there'd be work on Monday. I know what it feels like when the business is running you.
When I came back to public practice, I chose to work with trade and service business owners, because they work harder than anyone and too often get the least help. My job isn't just to do your tax. It's to help you understand your numbers, charge what you're worth, and get back in control.
Principal & Business Advisor, Registered Tax Agent
Jayne runs the day-to-day of the practice and makes sure your books, accounts and tax are done right and on time, so the numbers you're making decisions on are numbers you can trust.
Practice Manager & Accountant, Robards Advisory
The things that should come standard with an adviser, but too often don't.
You'll never be left waiting weeks for an answer.
If we can't explain your numbers simply, that's our problem, not yours.
We'll tell you the truth about your business, even when it's hard to hear, because that's how things change.
When a big decision comes up, you have an adviser who knows your business and your numbers.
Every owner we work with starts with Financial Fix: getting your numbers right, your prices right and you paying yourself properly. From there, the Growth Plan and Lifestyle Plan take you as far as you want to go.
Find out where your business really stands. It takes about five minutes.
