Previous known as Accounting With a Difference, Robards Advisory is now about more than just offering accounting services.
Drawing on over 30 years in business and the accounting industry in particular, Pat offers advice and consulting to businesses throughout Southeast Queensland. While accounting is clearly one of his specialities, he can work with you no matter your industry.
It doesn’t matter whether you’ve been running your business for a while with varying degrees of success or if you’re a complete beginner. With his extensive range of services, Pat and his team can assist you with several aspects of your business: accounting advice, lead generation, advice and coaching and, of course, cash flow.
30 Years’ Experience
Since entering the workforce, Pat has gained an impressive amount of experience in a variety of sectors. He has worked in industries such as construction and hospitality, working his way up to management positions in both. He’s worked in public practice and been a member of the Royal Australian navy.
Since graduating from Southern Cross University with a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Accounting), Pat has held a number of high-profile positions in and out of the accounting sector. He’s been Senior Accountant for DKM Group, CEO and Financial Controller for the Southport Worker’s Club (now CSi Club Southport), General Manager for Dapco Metal Roofing and Principal and Tax Agent for Robards and Rose, his own Bellingen company.
Pat has also been involved in public life including being a member of professional bodies and associations. He’s been a member of the Bellingen Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer of the Logan Chamber of Commerce and a Fellow at both the Institute of Public Accountants and the National Tax Agent Association.
At this stage in his career, Pat wants to not just be a leader in the field of accounting but to teach what he knows to others.
